Re: Meatball....yes Meatball SW Michigan

I think Meatball may have to hand his "adopt me" collar on down the line. What wonderful news! Luvnstuff, I know you have your reasons for not screaming forever home all over the place but I think Meatball hit the jackpot. And likewise for his new owner. And for all of us, we get to see pi...

Re: Skin problem--probably Staph, recurring

Simplicef is what I would do... Or maybe try some stridex pads at home for a couple days first if thats the only spot where she has issues. I can try that. Much cheaper than Simplicef! but poor dear will be peroxided. I don't need a blond dog MissKiwi lol Thanks for the suggestion. Is it just the p...

Re: Bumps on elbow?

I'm not saying it was ringworm I'm just saying they can pick up stuff at kennels. I'm just sayin'. i am not sure why they do not accept bedding from home. the next time i board the dogs, i will ask if i can bring my own and explain why. although, knowing my dog if it was hot he was not sleeping on ...

Re: Bumps on elbow?

Where in NJ are you? I know a great boarding facility for future use. I hate leaving Blu overnight but trust this staff 100%. And it's immaculate! And they allow bedding, toys, food, anything you want to bring. i would like the name of the facility you use for a back up. i do like the place i used,...

Re: Bumps on elbow?

the boarding facility would not allow our bedding, this was my only dislike. my other 2 dogs are perfectly fine so i am thinking it is some type of reaction. spoke with the vet and he suggested benedryl to see if it improves before our appointment friday. spammie, i could not imagine bringing home r...

Bumps on elbow?

My dogs were boarded about 3 weeks ago and my adult male came home with what seemed to be healing bug bites on his underside. They went away but now he has these bumps on his elbows that are similiar to what was on his underside but seem to be spreading. They are not just on the part that has contac...

the package for 21-55 lbs shows 0.084 fl (2.5 ml)
i use frontline the same way, it helps so much with the expense especially since we moved to tickville.

Re: So annoyed with my vet!

i have my male's most recent results that i can send you via email of dr dodd's full thryroid panel if you would like so your vet can see what the test setup looks like. as miss kiwi said, mich. is also good. i prefer dodd's lab because i usually have a full thryroid, cbc and chem done for much less...

Re: Dr Dodd's Blood Panel for Thyroid

the full thyroid 5 panel is the one I would choose. If your vet suggests a cbc/chem screen along with the thyroid panel, the lab has the profile 7200 which is a chem screen, cbc and the full thyroid profile. For us, that was the more economical choice as the in house cbc/chem alone at the vet was ov...
