Re: Sprain leg - Anyone with experience?

Thank you for everyones concern, I ended up taking him to the vet just to be on the safe side. After the vet finished examining him (stretching his legs back and forth, I was about to cry) he said it was a pulled muscle and to rest him for two weeks, he was such a good boy and did not complain, and ...

Re: Sprain leg - Anyone with experience?

It is the front leg. He is being restricted for two week now without any jumping or running. He is fine overall, when restricted he stops limping and is back to normal, so I guess I am not giving hi the right amount of time he needs.I already contacted his vet and will wait to hear what she has to s...

Sprain leg - Anyone with experience?

My dog sprained its legs about a 3 weeks ago, nothing major. No bruises, not swollen and would only limp when getting up, it only lasted for a day. I was restricting him and he was in his crate resting for two days. After that the limp went away and he was fine again, however I started doing more ex...

Re: Starting puppy on flyball

Thank you for taking the time and answering my question. The team I joined is a small team that just started, they have really nice dogs but no one is there to compete too seriously more like fun for us ad the dogs. They seem to take it slow and I already expressed my concerns about jumping, etc and...

Starting puppy on flyball

I have searched around and have gotten different opinions. I would like to know what is the right age to introduce a dog to flyball. I have a 5 months old puppy (sbt) and I already contacted a team and they will teach me and the dog flyball. However I started researching and most people say to avoid...

Re: shedding constantly

Her allergies are mainly bacause of dog food, I've tried more than 10 brands of dog food, and none of them worked, I came to the conclusion she is allergic to the preservatives presents in those diets. She is doing OK with costco brand, but I plan on putting her back on a raw diet. Thanks for the re...

Re: shedding constantly

Thanks for the reply, I did not think of it. I will do some research on it. Another test to do when we go to the vet. Thought I don't think this is the case, she is fine otherwise, now that she is better from her hip issues, she is back to being active again like she was before. She was always on th...

shedding constantly

I am trying to figure it out why my dog is having horrible shedding problems, its been a year or more and she is always shedding. She was on a raw diet for most part of her life, recently I changed because I thought maybe some vitamins were missing in her system, but she still keep shedding. I alway...

flies and pee odor problem

We have a small yeard made out of concrete, the dogs poop and pee there, I try to clean it everyday, hose it down everyday, but it is not enough, the smell gets really strong, I bleach it sometimes, but doesn't help with the smell. Is there a product that can be used to minimize the pee odor? Also w...
