Re: Question about Dasuquin

Being that they're both made by nutramax labs, that's a chance I'm comfortable taking.

Just compared the two labels and did the math.

Boswellia & Bromelain

Anyone have experience with these? Fauna's surgeon recommended she been on them long term, along with Dasuquin & a good fish oil, as I wean her off her NSAIDs and opiate. I read up on them earlier, just wondering if anyone has used them.

Re: Question about Dasuquin

Love Dasuquin. However, Cosemin ASU is *exactly* the same in capsule form, and much cheaper. I confirmed this with Nutramax (make of both products)

Re: Strollers for big dogs?

Timas Mom, thanks for the offer! But I think it looks a little small for what I want. Shanda, I thought of you and Ruadh's stroller. I was hoping you would post. Did you ever take his stroller on any trails or rougher terrain? How did it work out? I think I've narrowed it down to the DoggyRide and ...

Re: Strollers for big dogs?

The Doggy Ride. I have one, it was for my old pit bull who had trouble walking. Pricey, but worth every penny. I just pulled it out of the shed recently and used it again for my post-op bulldog. Can be a stroller or a bike trailer. There's pics here somewhere if you search "stroller" and &...

Re: People who make your dogs crazy

My mom. Animals absolutely flock to her and always have. She doesn't know much about animals, and in fact her handling skills are pretty much non-existent, but I've seen the most unruly beasts snuggle up to her and relax, including my nasty Paso Fino I had as a kid and her quick to bite, nervy Black...

Re: When did weight pull with bull breeds catch on?

Maybe it's the way I was first exposed to it (snow-pulling), but I'll take a good snow-pull any day over any other kind. The dog has to deal with so much more than the weight. The pulling pad changes constantly and can go from a slick, fast surface in the morning to a slushy, melting one by afterno...

Also, if any of you paid by credit card, you can take up a dispute with the cc company. Not sure about PayPal, but if your card is what you use via PP, then you can dispute.

Good luck to those of you who've been stiffed. :( What a crappy thing.

Re: Anyone knows what happened to petesdoggear.com?

:( Are these hobby businesses registered with a local BBB? It seems so unfair to take people's money and never deliver the requested product or at least refund the money if unable to provide the product. It's worth sending them a letter. I've actually had some issues resolved by contacting the BBB,...

Nutrisca dog food

Anyone know anything about it? I know it's Dogswell, whose treats are not so hot, but the food is reportedly 100% USA made. I read up on it a bit but just seeing if anyone has tried it.

Re: Eating too Quickly?

This is the dog that 5 days ago you weren't getting? ::sigh::

Try work to eat toys, like Wobblers, Tug-a-Jugs, puzzles. I've found them to be most helpful for gulpers.

Re: Dock Diving 101

Fauna just had her first jump at a Fun event on Saturday. Despite being surrounded by docks and water, they're mostly private, the public one are super high or over rougher water, so this was literally her first time going off a dock. Very proud of her! She is 9 months old. Jumped 7.0, then 7.4. I k...
