And the comment of the websites was not directed towards matrixkennels. I am sure they have great dogs, the titles speak for themselves.

Welcome aboard. There are many great breeders to choose from. But you have to be willing to do the research on them, the yard, and the history of the pups produced. Anyone can make a "pretty" site and type all sorts or BS so someone will pay thousands of dollars for a glamorized pup. You c...

That is more or less what I was looking for myself. But so many posted the tips on "cookies" etc and I thought I might give it a try. We have had a few problems with reactions so maybe for now I should just slice them up and bake 'em.

The recipe I use is very similar, but it just calls for 1 lb of liver and 2 cups of any kind of flour (or oatmeal). Same instructions, but spread it out on a greased cookie sheet then cut with a pizza roller when they come out of the oven. Leave on the cookie sheet and freeze, then they break apart...

uhhhhhhhh, what is wheat germ? lol Told ya I was useless in the kitchen.

So after I do this, I freeze them, thaw them out then give them to her? Why couldn't I just keep 'em in a bag?

Also, if I do not have wheat germ will it still turn out?

Taking a shot at making liver treats, please chime in

I did a search already and only found a few "half" recipes. First off, I am not usually good in the kitchen, my wife is at work and I am bored. I need some help. I don't want to use anything that may cause an allergic reaction like wheat flour etc. Any input would be great.

I know this isn't what you asked but here goes. I met a guy and his dogs and they are fed Diamond Natural Lamb and Rice. A member here feeds this as well. My aunt feeds her rotties also with this food. The coats look AMAZING! I just switched Layla to it today to give it a try. She is getting a mx oc...

looks like a reaction to something. Layla gets that, I think it is from the grass but not sure. She is getting an allergy test soon. They are not cheap, but they will help out in the long run
