Help me please. My dog got bit by a mouse.

There is a loose mouse running around in my house. And my 11 month old old dog went after it and the mouse bit my dog. Its a little bite mark. Nothing deep or anything. Could my dog get a disease? Should I take my dog to the vet tomorrow? Or only if he shows abnormal signs. What things could my dog ...

Maybe i was exaggerating. I'd say it was 2-3 tbs. Its been 2 hours ish since i gave him the salt and hes doing fine now. im so glad hes doing ok. For a second, i almost thought i was going to lose him :crybaby: :crybaby: hopefully he continues to do ok..... i appreciate everyone's help .

How much salt is to much? I gave 4 table spoons of salt. my dog is 40 lb's.


is that enough to kill him?




i stopped giving him stuff.. but now i am worried that i gave him to much salt!

JUST called Poison Control who said if he's not drooling, or acting as if he's in pain, and there are no visible burns in his mouth he'll be okay. well i put more salt in his mouth and the h2o isnt making him throw up. i guess he is fine then? someone recommended that i can add a table spoon of salt in his mouth. will that work as well? I am feeding him white rice so he can have food in his stomach and then i will re give him the h2o and salt. NEED HELP FAST--my dog bit through a battery.

I gave him pretty much a cup of h2o. i opened his mouth and his poured it inside him. He hasnt barfed yet eaither! He was chewing on a battery for 2 minutes while i went to get the door. And their was a whole in the battery. a small but sort of wideish hole. I saw the black oily stuff in the battery...

A pitbull that is good with children and has a nice temperament. Also a pit that likes to play fetch. A playful dog pretty much that has manners. (doesn't jump up on people .. or play bites if it gets to exited.)
