Re: I feel like I have failed Mya so much....

I don't get on here much but Mya was always one of my favorites, such a beautiful girl. I was so shocked to see that she had passed and I never realized she had any issues.
I am deeply sorry for your loss and I cannot even begin to imagine how difficult all of this has been for you.

San Diego Area: Two bullies need homes

We have two fosters needing homes, both 2 years old, fixed, up to date on shots and flea meds, gorgeous and total sweethearts. Both are medium energy, no anxiety issues, crate trained, athletic and up for anything but total couch potatoes at home. Osiris would do best with an experienced bully owner...

Re: Advice needed for DA dog and new incident..

Sorry I forgot to answer.. We are fostering him ourselves, the owners were giving him away intact for free on craigslist and after convincing them that was a very bad idea they asked us to please take him and find him the right home instead, so we got him fixed and shots and planned to train and soc...

Re: Advice needed for DA dog and new incident..

If they have a free consultation I would love to, I just cant afford much right now. But I do feel that little snarly snap is a red flag that I cannot just ignore or excuse. It was good 20 minutes after he had seen any strange dogs and he has never reacted poorly to a human before or redirected on a...

Advice needed for DA dog and new incident..

We have had our foster Osiris for about a year now due to the fact that he has pretty severe aggression toward strange dogs and we wont let him go to the wrong home. We manage him very carefully and avoid strange dogs although he does have 3 other dogs at home as well as many friends that he sociali...

Re: I need help!!!

Like I said, if he were mine that is what I would do and it sounded like he was just barking while she was away, not panic attacks. All the barker/whiners I have worked with have been easily remedied by a water bottle, or a bark collar sorry if this case is severe anxiety I must have read it wrong.

Re: I need help!!!

If he were mine I would buy a bark collar and crate train him asap. I wouldn't leave him in the yard for sure.
I'm sure there are lots of great training tips in the training and behavior section :)

Hoping to find the perfect home for Osiris...

So we have been fostering this beautiful lug for quite awhile now. We got him fixed and vetted and planned to socialize and train him and find him a new home. However it seems he is more than just unsocialized and I have not been able to work through his DA to the extent I had hoped to. He is very h...

Sorry to hear about your guy :( I am curious about the carts. Our Apollo has hip dysplasia and arthritis, and right now it is manageable, but he is only 1 year so it will get worse. How do you use the cart ? Do you have to have all flat one level home with no steps ? how do they lay down ? Or is it ...

He was intact, 15 months old. Just got neutered on Friday, but the vet didnt mention anything found on the neuter. We will ask him about it on Tuesday though. He also has a slight rash and itching on the chest. I hope it resolves on it's own. Should the nipples shrink down, or will they just not bec...

Does he have that dwarfism thing or is he mixed? When I first saw him he reminded me in the slightest way of some of those crazy looking ambullies that had dwarfism, but he is pretty normal size for a pit bull, about 17" at the withers. He is just from crappy byb I think. He has short legs tha...
