Gladly! I'm going out of my mind with 3 dogs, a puppy and a baby.

7 Week old Brindle boy - St. Louis, MO

I am fostering a sweet little brindle boy for St. Louis Pet Rescue. His mom was pulled from Jefferson County Animal Control (very high kill shelter) at the last minute...she was about to be euthanized. She went into labor 20 minutes later. She ended up having 10 pups. His brindling is gorgeous, he i...

Re: Severely obese lab...

Try a food like Diamond Naturals...pretty good quality and I pay $18.99/40 lbs at the local farm store. Replace treats with carrots. Cut feedings to about 2 cups a day. You can also substitute 1/4 cup kibble for something really high fiber like green beans, carrots or pumpkin. I did this with Lexus ...

Some sure fire ways to get my pack tired are swimming, fetch, flirtpole and springpole. I've also found that just taking them on outings and car rides will wear them out, too.

Do you have a blacklight? If it glows under blacklight then more than likely it is ringworm. There's really no need for a vet visit (unless you're not sure what it is), just pick up some Tinactin (athlete's foot) cream from the store.

I use Apple Cider Vinegar to clean my dogs' ears.

My oldest female Lexus tends to have irritated paws, she gets a soak in Epsom salt/warm water once daily.

I have dogs that are really hard to keep weight on, so they've been getting high calorie food. My dogs have been eating Diamond Naturals Extreme Athlete...another very high calorie food is California Natural Lamb Meal and Rice Puppy Food.

There were no breed bans on any of the bases on Okinawa (Marine, Air Force, Army or Navy) and there aren't any restrictions at Scott AFB in Illinois. I heard breed bans were becoming more common on bases though, but haven't seen it first hand.

And welcome to PBF.
