Not getting enough exercise

Hey all. I'm worried my dog Gator isn't getting enough exercise. I was in the hospital for two months and am now having to learn to walk again. My Mom walks him for me a couple times a week but other than that he pretty much doesn't get any other form of exercise. I can get him to chase a tennis bal...

Thanks for all the good thoughts guys. I really appreciate it. I actually found out about it all on accident. I took him in because he had been throwing up and shaking in pain, laying in odd places. He only did this for a few days though. I had an x-ray done and it showed his prostate was really big...

Maybe even it up. 2 eggs for you and 2 eggs for your dog.
You shouldn't have a problem with yolks at all unless your cholestorol is already really high.

Gator's surgery

Hi everyone. Well, Gator's surgery to get his cystic structure growing off of his prostate removed, along with swolen lymph nodes, and tumorous testicals removed went all well. The Doc told me the cultures are all negative for malignant cancer. That is a relief. I thought I would post a few pictures...

Well, my dog is 11 years old and he is actually in just as good, if not better shape now than he ever was, minus a cyst like structure on his prostate that needs to be surgically removed. It's simply due to a more disiplined exersice regimen, and overall healthy lifestyle. You know what I'm talkin b...

I have been trying Tast of the Wild as well. I'm still transitioning from Merrick. One thing the guy at the food shop told me when I was grabbing a bag of TOTW was that he was not sure if it was made with human grade ingreideints, but Merrick was. He said somthing about dog foods not being able to s...

Hey thanks for the information Starr. I really appreciate it. Do you know if mixing RAW and dry kibble together is ok? For instance feeding RAW in the morning and kibble in the evening or is it best to just do one or the other? The general recommendation is to do raw one day and kibble the next, if...

I feed my dog Merrick Wilderness Blend. He seems to do good on it. I was wondering if it would be worth it to try Taste Of The Wild, or if I should just keep feeding him Merrick. Between the two foods is one better than the other? I am reading up on RAW and am trying to decide if that is somthing I ...

It's weird how he became ill so fast. We have been hiking, and doing our daily walks like usual right up until Tuesday afternoon, then bam. I would think an infection could quickly take hold like that but not cancer. I'm just trying to think positively. He does'nt appear to be in pain or uncomfortab...
