Re: OH-Pit bull spared, vote scheduled to change Toledo policy

I think this one's gonna be a keeper, I already like her for standing up to the old guard here. Kudos to the Blade for not letting this issue die, either.

Re: Taste of the Wild

Another person who feeds the salmon formula here. Its the only non-prescription food our little allergy girl can eat.

Without a doubt.
I would plop down money, if I had any, on that ordinance getting brought up and rushed through the first meeting that no one on our side goes to.

I have had the same thing happen..I actually have a slight mistrust of Rotties for this very reason..I've been nailed pretty good (left bruises and scratches and destroyed the pants I was wearing) both times after being super sweet and lovey while I was there but flipped out and bit me as I started ...

We bribe with cookies..if you're pretty consistent with the rewards, it even works without cookies in a pinch :)

:inlove: :inlove: That little baby is adorable!! And I agree..teeny. This is a pic of our little one at 6 weeks old next to a normal sized kitty..and I thought SHE was tiny!! She's now a good solid 40lbs, and still small compared to some. http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m8/artemiss1977/puppy/Pict...

Another vote for the TOTW Pacific stream. And just a little note, in case someone didn't know this..the Pacific stream formula is the only one that doesn't have egg or chicken in it, making it suitable for dogs who have allergies to those things. (Like my lil itchy-girl, Kira) It has thus far been t...

We have an outward hound one we got at petsmart. It wasn't too terribly expensive (20-30 bucks) and adjusts to out enough to fit the greyhound. Kira really does well with hers. As someone else mentioned, it gives the dog a "job" and really helps them stay focused. We generally carry a coll...

I dunno about the "complementary" kibble/wet thing..for one dogs think cat poo straight from the litter box is crunchy-goodness with a creamy filling.. :yucky: That said, Kira loves vanilla yogurt on her fishy kibble.. :yucky: It's worth a try, right now, kira thinks she needs parmesan che...

Flirt pole play is alot of fun and is great exercise, just keep an eye out on your dogs movements any body language. Often times they will throw all caution to the wind and lay thier bodies out in very compromising postions causing injuries. Glad your dog is enjoying it, my tribe has a ball with it...

I think another good show of support would be for ALL dog-based events sponsered by the AKC (and other clubs) to be pulled from the Denver-area with this press statement. Those kind of things draw revenue, and when the "fluffy-dog" owners realize that this ban ultimately affects them too, ...
