Bandito had bad happy tail last year.
I used nustock on it and nothing else. Took about two weeks and haven't had the problem since.
He is an outside boy, so I did not have to worry about covering it.

I just wanted to tell you that my old girl had a mast cell tumor removed from her rib cage - she was 6 years old and it was grade 2. The next year it was a mammary tumor - had that one removed. She will be 13 in June and just had another surgery to remove 2 more mammary tumors. Amazingly enough, non...

I would not worry about it - Bandito went through some wonky ear stages and ended up with nice rose ears. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v444/Dtwo/bandit111906a.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v444/Dtwo/bandito031807.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v444/Dtwo/Bobby%20and%20Dito/DSC0545...

What others have said - he may need to get acclimated to the warmer temps. He doesn't look over weight and he has a bully type head but his muzzle doesn't look too short. Early afternoonish is usually the hotter part of the day. The hotter it gets you are going to need to walk early morning or later...

A mile is pretty far for a guy his age. How hot is it where you are at? Walks are best in the morning or evening, not the heat of mid-day. Most importantly, look to your dog to tell you how far he can go. In that one pic in the gallery where he is kind of lying down and his tongue is hanging out, he...

Woohoo!! You've made it through the scary stage! In another few days his intestinal lining will have had time to completely overturn and any minor insults from the surgery should be completely healed, and now all that has to heal is the muscle and outer layers of the actual resection site, which sh...

Good news! Your well wishes are working everyone! I think we are finally out of the woods. . .day six after surgery. We had another scare because he actually went the other way and didn't poop for two days! Finally yesterday, a big giant semi-solid turd with no blood - woo hoo! I am so happy - I was...

Glad he's on the mend. Xanny had an obstruction a couple years back. I could never figure out what she'd eaten, probably a piece of sport equipment, looked like dense foam. She lost about a foot of intestine, I had her spayed (she was 7) at the same time. She was back pulling weight in a month. Wow...

Maverick wasn't eating either, that's how we knew something was wrong.
