Re: PetzLife gel/spray

Thanks MissKiwi! Its very interesting to me that the VOHC doesn't have any toothpastes listed as accepted products... hmmmm. I'll definately get him some greenies. He is a little weird about treats/toys that require chewing but its worth a try. Leslie - Thanks. I do prefer the holistic stuff. PBLove...

Re: PetzLife gel/spray

His teeth aren't terrible but they aren't good imo - the vet isn't concerned. We give him probiotics and spirulina in addition to his old man supplements. I'll look into parsley though, thanks for the tip.

PetzLife gel/spray

Hi, I recently took our older dog (13-14 year old shep mix) to the vet for a checkup. I told the vet I was concerned b/c in the past month or so his breath had gotten really bad. We did bloodwork and everything came back good and consistent with last year's results. She suggested I might try the Pet...

Re:

My all time favorite store is DogGone Natural. They have all the foods you would want. Plus they are a bit damn the man when it comes to the nutritional requirements needed. Which I love that they will give me an honest opinion on ingredients - what is needed, what isn't, etc. The owner is a pet nut...

They've only been on about 2 weeks - I'll give it some more time. Hopefully it is this detox period.

Thanks.

Terrible Breath on RAW

So we finally switched to raw...

Everything seems to be going pretty well. But man their breath is rank. Any ideas how to get back the puppy breath? Their breath never smelled on kibble or canned food.

Thanks all! I was surprised at the ER vet too b/c I heard labs had the surgery all the time for swallowing tennis balls whole and that sort of thing. Actually it was the first question they asked when we showed up (the counter was too tall for them to see him). Maybe he just didn't want to do it, he...

Foreign Body Surgery

Sunday Angus went to ER. He was vomitting everything he put in his stomach - I dreaded the worst but was 99% sure he ate one of my husband's socks. He is always snaking them out of our room to chew on them but I catch him and take it away - can't convince the hubby that putting your clothes in the l...

She is eating her food normally. But she is eating tons of grass. She wants to stop on our walks to eat grass. We can't train in the grass b/c she won't focus she is so determined to eat grass. Is there any merit to the idea that that behavior is due to something lacking in the dog food? She eats Di...

Does anybody have any ideas about this?
Its getting worse, I took her back, ultrasound showed nothing, I made them redo the urine and blood tests and they were all still normal. I can't find anything on the internet.

I appreciate any ideas anyone could offer.

A complete blood cell count and internal organ function screening.

Didn't sound normal to me either.

Drinking tons of water

So for the past 2 weeks Addy has been drinking a ton of water, approximately 3 gallons a day. She has also been acting off - she doesn't want to pee in the backyard and will pee in the house rather than go in the backyard and she is eating a ton of grass. I took her to the vet had her urine checked ...
