LuckyVitamin.com has excellent prices on essential oils, supplements, etc. A little lavender essence goes a long, long way for us. I hope poor Woody feels better soon!

Do you have an Ella's Lead yet? My Rufus is a puller, and the most comfortable leash I have found (by far) is Ella's Lead. Some of the ropes are softer than others, but I have never gotten a burn from any of them like I did with the nylon. I would pm Chewbecca if you have trouble deciding, there are...

I fed Canidae until they changed, now I feed Innova. It's a better value because you feed less, and my girl with the sensitive stomach does much better on it. Good luck choosing!

I take my Doberman mix Rufus to a baseball park sometimes and attach a 30 ft lead as well. He has good recall now, so I don't hold the leash anymore but I did in the beginning. When I hold onto the lead, I use a 50 ft lead which was a pain at times. But it was worth it to see him having so much fun!...

I don't walk our two on a coupler when it's just us. If I am watching someone else's dog, I will walk them together. They get along fine on a coupler, but I don't think the walk is as enjoyable for them because they can't walk and explore as freely. I wouldn't use one unless I had three dogs or more...

Just got back from the vet...Rufus is fine. At first he was worried it was kidney stones or something, so we did the full ultrasound thing. But it is a UTI, thank goodness. We have some antibiotics to give him for 2 weeks, then we return for a follow up. Thank you everyone for your good thoughts for...

Fiona ate a cupcake wrapper last week, and she is fine  I'm sure he'll be fine as long as it wasn't one of those aluminum foil ones.

That's nice. I wish Dr. Kelley did that. I have been considering changing vets for awhile now because of things like this. We have to wait a whole day to do something for Rufus, when we could have already started the antibiotics or whatever already. Ugh. That is frustrating!

Thank you, I am so worried about him. He is acting really withdrawn today and just...not himself. I hope that we get some answers tomorrow. Is that normal, what our vet does?

Poor Rufus

I've been home after having surgery, and yesterday Rufus would come in from outside just to have to go back out again. I watched him go every time, and his urine was so dark, I think it actually was blood. He hasn't had an accident yet and slept through the night last night. The vet says we have to ...
