Re: "Is my dog dog-aggressive?"

Diesel is now reactive to dogs on their backs in submission. He jumps in when other dogs gather around the underdog. As a result I have stopped taking him to dog parks. His sister is fine, she just wants to play, so now I take her and leave him at home. He doesn't understand this new deal, but I can...

Re: Cesar Millan

In response, I was going to post that video of Cesar hanging a York-a-poo or whatever that dog was by its leash, but I haven't found it in the time I allotted for it. Maybe someone else has it bookmarked. Or how bout the husky that he simultaneously hangs and kicks? I'm sure all you have to do is l...

Re: Top 5 Foods

Today my pups had more runny stools on kibble Nutro. I had this problem earlier this year and started mixing in the canned Nutro for sensitive stomachs. This has been an ongoing problem so I think I will change their food. I'm paying almost $60 for a 3 week supply so I"ll pay more if their stom...

Why so long between eating and eliminating??

We have two pups, both 10 weeks old. We feed at 6PM. The female goes at 2AM and the male at 4. This is causing us loss of sleep. Howe can they hold it so long??

Well wife didn't have it as bad as she thought. I should have learned by now to ignore her little dramas. Stormi I appreciate your input. I am NOT a trainer so it looks as though I need all the help I can get from my fellow PBFers.

It's not working out with Missy :(

She's never been on the leash so I'm trying to train her. She seemed to be doing well the first week but now she's alerting on everything she hears and sees; squirrels, birds, little jumping and crawling things, everything. She will not walk at the heel position very long. She's constantly jerking a...

When my son had to go away from his house we took his male pit bull and a female chow mix. I asked him if they had ever fought and he said no they hadn't(that should have been a warning right there lol). He already had her when he brought the pit bull puppy home so she basically raised him. She was ...

Two good pit bulls need a home

My son found them roaming the streets in Arlington Tx. They had collars but no tags. The bigger one is a brown brindle and the smaller one is kinda brown I think. He's had them for a couple months now. A friend of his was supposed to take them but he backed out. My son has a dog already, plus these g...

The other problem is that there are a lot of people that just aren't dominant by nature. So it's very hard for them to take a real leadership role over their dog. Let alone permanently They're always striving to have a "Buddy" relationship with their dogs. If you are a real leader and kno...
