Bring a sword and prepare for battle? My theory has always been, if you're attacked - show no mercy, weather it be a dog or person - it's your life and the lives that you're trying to protect, not the aggressor 100% in agreement with your post! Shoot first, ask questions later if your life is on th...

I think carrying a gun on your walks is just asking for trouble. Don't get me wrong I am all for gun rights, but it seems like you may be inviting tragedy. I can just imagin what would happen if I shot some advancing dog; some pissed off crazy whose dog I had just shot (or shot at) would come out o...

As one of the posters said, seems like you have pre-made your mind and you just need some more courage to actually finish the job. Why don't you just put your dog down and never own another one, just to prevent similar "situation" from happening again? You come here, ask for advice, then ...

Well he didnt bite so you have no reason to put him down and im sure most people on here would agree that when you have a multi dog household with any breeds s**t happens.....and like you said he only growled so its nothing you cant work with. Josh Am I supposed to wait until he takes my child's ar...

Post some pictures so we can see how exactly does it look. APBTs are definitely known for skin problems...oh yeah, Science Diet is not good quality food, consider switching.

I mix in goat's milk yogurt with Coal's food as he's at about 5 cups a day right now and he's very busy... too busy to eat. I hold his bowl so he'll eat it all and cajole him into it but some days... no way. I also soak it b/c at 5 months, he's still teething. Soaking his kibble in goat's milk yogu...

A lot of you might disagree, but I think dogs get REALLY tired of the same dry food every single day. My big boy would do the same thing as your dog - he would eat a little bit and then skip a meal.. I have had him for a whole weak, barely eating 25% of what is he supposed to. The solution to this p...

I'd just hope that as parents with dogs in the house that there will be some lessons taken from this thread. I just don't understand why on earth people allow their kids to taunt the dogs. If the dogs are uncomfortable with something kids are doing, remove dog from said situation. Let the kids and ...

we make our dogs more food driven than i believe they naturally are by giving them snack oriented activities...what our dogs reallly crave is physical activity that we participate in with them. In my opinion, giving a dog a treat to keep them busy is not much different than giving a child a Ding Do...

Read Red's first post one more time. Ok, I read it again. I (still) find it a good post. Independent of Red's post in my view the family packing order and the rules are not meant to be fair. The dog in our family is supposed to be the on the lowest level. And while we do as much as we can to train ...

What about compressed rawhide? I thought they were safe for dogs as long as you watch them so they don't choke on any pieces
