Re: What to do...what to do...

Thank you. I think I just needed some confirmation I was doing the right thing. She is scheduled for surgery on Tuesday. They will leave about 3 inches when it is over. The money wasn't so much the issue but the proceedure itself. Now I guess we will have to start calling her stumpy...

When I had a jumper we bought an 8 ft section of picket fence. 5 ft high. This was to use in an archway but I don't see why a gate would not do the job if you are just covering a stirway or doorway. The cats came and went at will and the dogs stayed in the area of th house deemed for them. It worked...

Long story that I will not bore you with. Anyway called what used to be my vet when I was growing up and they are now VCA, which to me is o...

I spoke with the company "customer service rep" not too long ago because I use the kibble and was having a very difficult time finding the duck/turkey or the rabbit formulas. I was told then that they were in the process of finding "local" suppliers for the meat products. That so...

Hopefully you can get her to give up all the yard ornaments. The poor baby. I get so angry at neglect. It is an avoidable situation and this is clear cut neglect. Even as a kid I knew pups grow collars don't man. I do thank you for offering to assist this baby, but I am wondering if your firend thou...

I agree with Otis on this one. I was thinking your question sure raised alot of other questions. From the description the dog was protecting your daughter and we all know that our pittie pups are really smart and learn so very quickly, I wouldn't think you need to reprimand him for protecting your d...

I wish I could help but I already have a mama with 7 in the shed. She is HW+ and it doesn't look promising for her. She was dumped here wasn't that nice. I will keep my eyes and ears open for anything in between me and you but... I am already trying to figure out what I am going to do with 7 pups.

Sorry for the double post....She also is not expected to protect my home, I feel it is my job to protect her. My health is kind of bad at the moment and she used to get run everyday and that was put on hold because I can no longer breathe. Recently my son has been taking her on a 4 mile run almost d...

Calikeith, I am sorry if you feel you must take offense as that was not intended and you got upset because we were questioning your methods so I guess I over spoke and for that I am sorry. Now let me tell you what *I* do. Petrie is allowed on the bed to sleep with. She gets no people food whatsoever...

I feel the key there is to allow NONE to be dominant. *I* am the only alpha in this house and if that slips then I agree we could have issues but until then....
