Re: No, seriously, keep your puppy out of the trash

Awesome job!!! Yay!!! :nana: :nana: Glad to know the pup was well behaved and was calm enough to let a total stranger go digging into her mouth. Its funny the things you don't realize you need to learn when you adopt your first dog/puppy. Like how to stick your hand into their mouths to fish out chi...

Re: Taste of the Wild

We just switched over to TOTW the herring and salmon one and its really smelly but they seem to LOVE it. They were on B. G. - Chicken and Salmon formula. They seem to be doing pretty good on it.

We alternate with feeding raw.

Re: Hemorrhoids?

Thanks - god I was hoping it didn't have to do with anal sacs. Truly I was hoping it was a hemorrhoid. Lol.

Hemorrhoids?

Riot has been licking and over all just seems to be bothered by his behind. We've seen him dragging his bum across the grass and at times across the rugs and carpets. I've looked to see if there is maybe so poop left over but I never see anything. Only a slight raw and swollen area around his anus a...

Re: Gross and Intimate girl dog question (with pictures!)

Hahahaha.....

Now you guys have me looking at Brina's thing-ee to see if hers looks normal. It isn't sticking out but is very...noticeable. No wonder Riot's always sniffing at it.

Re: OMG! He ate chocolate!

No one knows every thing about any thing, neither do they know anything about every thing. But this doesn't mean they don't think they do.You just have to know enough about something to know that nobody knows as much as you know about everything else... OMG - I got it!! I got it. Couldn't have stat...

Re: Overheating / Heat Stroke

Thanks for the info guys. I took the pups back outside and cooled them down some more with the water hose underneath our big tree. They seemed to appreciate the cool water on their bellies. They were running around and seemed okay afterward the hose down. I kept them out there for a good 40 minutes....

Overheating / Heat Stroke

So I come home today to a house so hot - its hotter than the 89 degrees outside. The A/C died - I think due to the power outage. I have the A/C repair people on the way. But the pups were inside all day with NO A/C and they seemed very hot. I got them outside immediately and hosed them both down wit...

Not yet. Our vet does love to tell us all the time how incredibly healthy and fit they are. And that most dogs that come in tend to be overweight. Both tend to run along leaner lines and I know that if we exercised them more...they would be more muscular. I did however see one time meet a beautiful ...

I do think that some vet expenses can become very outrageous. We go in for our yearly appointments and we treat the dogs monthly for fleas/ticks, heartworm, etc. We understand the expenses of that - however some of the stuff that vets "require" do start to get a little ridiculous. In the s...

Welcome to Florida!!! Great post from SurpriseInside. If you bought a house and have a yard, consider treating the yard with insecticide pellets that you can buy from Home Depot or Lowe's. We put that stuff down twice a year (spring & winter) and don't let the dogs play in the yard for about a w...
