I didnt use the potty pads either, just for the same reason - I didnt want him to think its OK to go inside the house. Dont wait for her to get the urge of needing to go. Take her outside for a very brief time on leash (so she knows its not play time or going for a walk time), tell her the command f...

Mine took a while until we could do that. Muscles do not fully develop until about 2years old with pits. Jaw may not be strong enough yet. But why this concerns you with an 8 month old confuses me. well, I would like mine to "hang" onto things too...with me, its not a concern, its just th...

Thanks Lixx for response :) He is 2,5 months old. I can't get him on leash, i'm really being so soft to him. Thinking about " what if he cries, what if he becomes so sad " etc. But i guess it's the only way. Also thinking to buy a small crate, which he can only sit and lay down in it. He ...

sounds like lack of confidence maybe. can you get him to jump up onto other things? maybe you should try working with him with smaller things to get his confidence up. if hes scared only when you open the door of the truck maybe his fear isnt of just jumping. maybe its the truck itself. i might try...

Does he like to ride in the truck. I mean, is he happy once he's in there? once he is in there, he sits up and looks through the window (or lays down). He doesnt seem excited, just very calm. But I think he gets scared when he gets jerked a bit when I am braking or starting to drive from a red ligh...

he doesnt jump up in the truck on his own

He is getting so scared when I open the door of the SUV, that he puts all 4 feet as brakes and freezes up when I lift him up. He didnt do this when he was younger (he is 7 months and 55lbs, getting heavy to lift up), he used to relax when I was about to set hin inside the vehicle to go for a ride. H...

I do a combination of raw and kibble in separate meals, sometimes I top the kibble with raw eggs, cottage cheese or plain yogurt and sometimes I mix it with cooked meat and veggies.
