Behavioralist in NJ?

Hi all. Brody and I recently had a lot of changes in our life. We are now living with my BF, who has a one and a half year old son. Brody has always been the sweetest dog and great with larger children, but his exuberance makes him a little bit of a hazard to small children. He's likely to step on a...

Welcome to the forum. It's full of really knowledgable members. To post pictures you need to upload them to a hosting site. I use photobucket, but there are plenty of option out there. I'm sure someone will come along and point it out, so I'll be the first to say, blue nose is really just the color ...

Re: Aaarg... he's FOUR... why now??

I put the garbage up on the counter at night.

Brody generally doesn't eat out of the trash, but every once in a blue moon he will find something that really appeals to him

Yes, it's only happening inside the car. I remember reading that growling should not be corrected, but I was so taken back in the situation, I totally forgot. Gotcha. And hey, no worries. Its very easy to be in that "ack, I don't want my dog to do that!" mind frame and forget that they ar...

If I'm reading this right, this is strictly happening when Brody is inside the car, correct? And I occur with Amie. A growling dog is expressing something to you and should not be "corrected". Yes, it's only happening inside the car. I remember reading that growling should not be correcte...

Growling,

Brody has recently growled at three different people, and I find it to be concerning. Let me set the scene, Brody does a lot of car riding with me and as the weather has been improving, he's been going for more car rides. Brody is about to be two years old, is neutered, and loves people. The first t...

I think limp is cute, and wave, but they aren't really unique tricks. The girl that works at the shelter near me taught her dog to play "bang bang bang". On the first bang, the dog limps, on the second bang the dog crawls and on the third bang the dog dies. It's adorable, and unique. i re...

Brody looks straight at the camera, and gives me the evil eyes (I think it's just because of the red light that comes before the flash).
He doesn't seem to really mind having his picture taken, over all, though.
