Hannah gets hives in the summer season too, I'm doing benadryl. She usually gets them 2-3 times a week until it starts to cool off.

Did you leave him at the vet, bring him home to suffer, or at least get him some pain meds until you figure out what you're going to do? Apply for Care Credit, or any credit card for that matter. Do whatever you need to do to get his leg fixed. :frown: Sorry if that sounds hasty or rude...but posts ...

They may just be full (not impacted) and haven't expressed by themselves when she poops lately which would be why they aren't red and irritated.

Well her leg seemed to start bothering her when the weather got cold and rainy, other days I take her on a walk and she doesn't limp at all, we get home and shes a little sore on it, but otherwise fine. Some days she doesn't limp at all. I don't think she always puts all her weight on it, but she d...

Oops, my post didn't work right. I hope my girl doesn't need surgery on both, but we'll see. So far, the "good" knee only pops out when manipulated by the vet, never on its own, so I'm not super concerned about it. I just need to find a way to keep her leg muscles well exercised and stron...

Hannah had both knees done last year (9/11 & 11/7). She had grade 2-3 and a 4-5. She's finally back to 100%...was expensive but worth it. She'll be on a glucosomine supplement for the rest of her life and she cant do sports or weight pull...so she can just be my spolied Hannah for the rest of h...

Yep, as soon as they bite the dog they die instantly. I have Hannah on it now because I was tired of topicals as well. This is a great product!

Call the vet back and demand pain relief...you're paying for it...if you want it for her (which it sounds like she needs it) go get it! As for aspirin...NO...my vet said human pain relievers can cause damage to dogs. But they can have benadryl, just not human pain relievers.
