We used to feed it, but they increased the price by almost 30 bucks a bag. So we switched to another brand.

My dogs did well on TW, but it was hard to find at the local store, they didnt seem to stock it often enough.

Frontline Plus Vs. k-9 Advantix

I have been using the Frontline Plus for a few years but this year it doesn't seem to be working as well ( or at all!) I religiously use it every month.... but yet every day I am pulling at least 3-5 ticks off of Brady. He seems to attract them more than Raisin ( maybe it is his lighter coat color?)...

I had to take Brady to the vet last yr when he hurt his leg and the vet ( not our normal doc) told me she couldn't diagnose the issue because he was too muscular. Then she proceeded to tell me he was too thin ( he is between 72-75lbs). She also was timid and hand shy about touching him. So.... for t...

I hated the coupler I tried for my dogs. Maybe because my dogs are bigger, it didn't work well. I think it is great that your 12 year old is showing such responsibility and getting up early to walk the dogs! I would have to vote for having her continue walking the dogs separately. I always walked my...

If you have a Facebook account and are a "fan" of Planet dog they will be posting a free promo code likely today ( once they hit a certain number of fans) that entitles you to a free ball with any order.
Yay! :)

I loooove the Orbee products... My only minor complaint is that I buy the pink balls ( the only ones Brady plays with- so masculine ) and the word WOOF or FETCH is in the blue material that can be pulled off quickly. I wish that they just imprinted the word, or left the ball plain. We have the recyc...

Brady tends to make a "stinky" if he is sitting on the couch relaxing... especially if he is cuddling me ( yes, I know you are all jealous) The couch is covered and I purchased this cool Little Green Bissel vaccum that does spot cleans. If he seems to do this frequently... like more than o...

Baby Dolls

I am 15 weeks pregnant and I have been told by several family members/ friends that I should purchase a lifelike baby doll to introduce the idea to the dogs that there will be another object in the house that requires my attention. I am wishy washy on this... I mean it will smell like plastic. What ...

I was able to bring my guys into an REI to try them on... Raisin wears a medium comfortably and is 55lbs. She does have a pretty wide chest though.

I was rushed and just bought alarge for Brady since he was in kidney bean mode and was shaking his booty too much to really get a good feel for it.

We use these for both dogs.... I really like how the medium fits Raisin- very comfortable so that she barely notices it. We had used Poland Spring water bottles in it... until they rubbed against each other and sprung leaks. Now she carries the treasures I find on my hikes ( i like pretty quartz roc...

In order to make the prongs sit correctly on my dogs neck they wear a flat collar from Stillwater underneath it and it keeps it in place and from sliding down. On the rare instance it has slipped down to the wrong spot, it is so ineffective I can't imagine how people use it on their dog like that al...

Welcome! I am south of Boston... I don't see many pit bull owners in the 'burbs here.

It can sometimes take a day or two before a mod will approve you... in the meantime - post some pics :)

Cute pup! Can't wait to see some more pics.

I had one incident of food aggression between my two dogs... it was more than enough for me! They now get fed separately. One in the kitchen, one in his bedroom. It is alot less stressful for all of us, and it gives them a chance to eat slower.

We feed the fish mixture and it has really worked out well so far. Both dogs coats are soft and shiny.

I had switched from Timberwolf because I couldnt swallow their ridiculous price increases.
