Re: Recall, Kirkland and Taste of the Wild

What I hate most about this recall is that so many of the foods I recommend were impacted, and our choices in this area are so limited, I don't know where to go from here. I was about to switch to ToTW when this happened, and I won't order my foods online due to past bad experiences with such. :po:

Re: Transport from GA to Ontario-- ideas??

I can meet someone from Binghamton in the Corning area and transport to Buffalo, if that can be arranged. If he has to overnight at my house, it's no big deal.

Re: Transport from GA to Ontario-- ideas??

If the dog could get to me in western NY, I'd be willing to take it to the border. Unfortunately, I can't cross - I don't have my passport yet and I don't even want to talk about the enhanced license ordeal.

Re: Dog..Itching Bald, raw place on back

Well, hopefully the veterinarian can give your poor dog something. I remember my veterinarian has told people to use Advantage/Advantix every 3 weeks in some cases. Your dog needs a consistent flea treatment - that is the only way she is going to heal and stay healthy. If your parents alone can't af...

Re: Dog..Itching Bald, raw place on back

Usually we have more money but i spent $50 on flea treatment for our 3 dogs which didnt help this dog very long at all. Shes back to the way she was before we treated her. We had to pay our house bill, and i payed about $50 getting a fish aquariam and stuff not thinking we would need to care a dog ...

Re: too skinny?

I go back and forth on my two and their size sometimes. You can't see ribs or spine on Valentino but he's very lean; Midge doesn't show ribs, but does show spine most of the time (although, she also has pretty much no hair on her topline at the moment). However, she also looks paunchy on her belly a...

Re: Lick granuloma

Ouch... Those are really hard to heal. My ex's dog had it, there was absolutely no other way of making it better than an e-collar for the dog. He had to wear it ALL THE TIME, because as soon as you took it off he started licking. E-collar and a cortisone cream applied daily and the granuloma went a...

Lick granuloma

My Midge has an awful lick granuloma on her right, front paw that I cannot get to heal. She has had it since I adopted her. She came to me with skin issues resulting from a hormonal imbalance and mild demodex mange. The skin issues are clearing up well post-spay and with treatment, and her hair is g...

Re: Mamadog

Seriously I can't believe she hasn't even had a nibble - she's gorgeous and her "negative" points sound pretty easy to work with! If I was looking for a female, she'd be on my list (but we don't need a fourth dog and Lizz doesn't tolerate females in her castle).

Re: GSD Puppy with Megaesophagus

The GSD rescue I am affiliated with recently lost a ME dog to complications during surgery. She was the adopter's pride and joy for the short time I had her. I hope you can find him a place.
