Re: Slightly Swollen Lymph Nodes-When to worry?

Sorry! I've been so busy with the shelter and school, I forgot to update! Vet said they are normal, they are just a little bit bigger in size than Cherry. He said he likes that I'm such a protective mom, but that I was being overparanoid. :) Rather be over than under!!

Re: Puppy questions (with pics)

She looks A LOT like my dog. When she was a puppy, and even still, her eyes look a little wonky because one is outlined in black, and one is outlined in pink. It always looks just a little off, but I love it. And her ears were soooo wonky growing up. I miss those silly ears LOL. Her weight looks per...

Slightly Swollen Lymph Nodes-When to worry?

My new dog, Sophia, is about 3 years old. I've been working with her at a shelter as her handler for 1 1/2 years, and decided to foster her. That lasted about a month and we officially adopted her. :) She has no medical issues besides separation anxiety, and she is on Clomapramine for that. 100mg on...

Re: Zymox shampoo.

I've tried the Zymox Enzyme Creme Leave-on Rinse, and Cherry had a reaction to it. I use Microtek Eqyss now. Maybe I will try the Zymox shampoo.

Re: Cyclosporine for IBD

I am using Atopica for allergies, but not for IBD. Just a heads up, http://www.omahavaccine.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; has the cheapest cycosplorine I've ever been able to find. You also have the option to get the generic. So far, my experience with side effects with cyclospl...

Re: Fractured Canine-pulp showing

Ended up doing pulp caps on both lower canines. Turns out the right was dangerously close to showing pulp. Her lower canines are about 1/2 the size they were, but they look fantastic. He did a great job. He also said the top left one was dead. :( The vet was wrong, pulp was exposed...and it was very...

Fractured Canine-pulp showing

Well, Sophia has been having a setback in her separation anxiety issues. She's had diarreah the past few days, and she refuses to go in her crate or in the house. I think this is why she's been having episodes in her crate. Came home today to a lot of bent wires in the bottom of the wire kennel, all...

My dog gets that when she has a yeast infection. Clears up as soon as it is gone.

Re: It never rains but it pours ...

Cherry has had 3 of those removed now. All the same diagnosis, and they all look just like Peanut's. The worst one was on her eyelid, that was hell. The others were easy removals. She has really bad allergies, and her immune system is shot from all the steroids/antihistamines/Atopica. So lumps and b...

Re: Pit Mix Puppies Have Until Friday-Houston, TX

Nothing yet, but I'm hoping!! Getting individual pics and temperament profiles on each tomorrow, and getting them named. Maybe it will help up the cute quotient and get some interest!!

Pit Mix Puppies Have Until Friday-Houston, TX

These pit mix puppies were found tied up outside of a townhouse on Washington and Montrose. A woman that lives there took them to a vet and the vet saw symptoms of Demodex and Staph infections, very easily treated and common in puppies. She kept them overnight, but took them to CAPS (at vet's sugges...

Re: Free Kittens wilson nc

Drive a ways and take them to the next city shelter, or the next. Euthanasia is the kindest option here, since you aren't going to spaying/neutering them, they are just going to contribute to the feral cat colony, get feline aids and suffer, get hit by a car and suffer, or any of the thousands of ca...
