Re: MI - Remy Needs a Place!

No, thankfully. The dog was given away to an unscrupulous individual that I warned her about after we had settled on a good home, done interviews, home check and told the family they were getting the dog. It's a very sore subject for me and one more notch in why a lot of people who own this breed ti...

MI - Remy Needs a Place!

http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y15/simplypitbull/remy-053.jpg Hi! My name is Remy! I'm a 10 month old blue and white, UKC-registered American Pit Bull Terrier female. I am looking for a new home because I'm a bit too much for my current mom to handle. I am good with dogs, though a bit too boister...

Re: Dog smell?

I don't know if any of you have tried it, but liquid chlorophyll will help remove some of the 'doggy' smell some dogs have. We normally use it for Lyric when she's going to come into season but I've been using it for our foster failure, Duo, as well since he tends to have a nasty odor to him. We use...

Re: Rabies Vaccine SNAFU

Don't feel bad, my vet and I've gone rounds on it. She's finally realized that I'm more anal about their care then most of the pet owners she deals with. I always back up my reasoning with facts from veterinary medical journals, etc. or have her research to make an informed choice.

Re: looking into ear cropping

I have a cropped dog. He went through hell. I love him with or without his ears, but I will never crop another dog again for anything other than medical reasons. http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y15/simplypitbull/Ryker/rykertilt.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y15/simplypitbull/Ryker/rykeroctob...

My...er..reintroduction.

I've been on a semi-hiatus type of thing and I'm back. I'll attempt to be semi-active again. Many of you probably remember me, so "Hi!" to all of you. Those of you who don't, it'll be good to get to know you. Um, I'm the proud owner of Luna, Ryker and the youngest addition, Lyric. We activ...

Muscle definition varies from dog to dog and a good chunk of it is genetic. Some dogs have that naturally bulky rippling muscle (for instance, Marty's dog, Lil' Bit) and some dogs have more lean muscle that's not as defined. You don't want to over-stress your puppy. Too much work on a puppy can do m...

Well lets see, it hurts the dog, can't communicate with other canines as well. You like it....yea, pretty selfish huh?? Get over yourself :bully: x2 They can still communicate just fine with other dogs and people just fine with cropped ears. To the OP: Try to find the inflatable e-collars if you ha...
