I did not read all four pages of the topic so sorry if I repeat but, Try the 2-week cool down period and allow the cat full run of the house. I believe this helped my situation. This will effectively tell the dog that the cat belongs here and that the cat stands above the dog in the household chain ...

Animals, Im sure dogs are included, fell all types of pain. But in the wild injured animals are the first choice for predators.
