Re: OFA Hips - GOOD

Nice! Wish more ADBA dogs would get on the bandwagon..... hopefully that will come. Seems like the UKC will, eventually, have to open the books for a bit to breed the Pit Bull back in Thanks. Kuru and Heavy's owners (Narnia's offspring) will be health testing theirs so there goes two more ADBA dogs...

Re: OFA Hips - GOOD

Congratulations! Thanks! Hey, that's great. I'm so happy to see more of the ADBA dogs getting x-rayed. You've probably x-rayed most of them. Another reason for UKC to open back up single registration again. How about pictures and pedigree, for the idly curious? Thank you Leslie. I get mo...

OFA Hips - GOOD

It's been awhile since I've had the time to post but I had to share the great news. My boy, ADBA CH El Cuco, now on co-own w/ a friend in LA, is OFA Hips - GOOD and Legg-Calve-Perthes was NORMAL. Had him x-rayed before leaving to ensure he was suitable for weight pull before going after his ACE titl...

Bulging eyes

So I woke up this morning to find Chloe's eyes literally bulging out like a Boston Terrier and secreting goo. Freaked out I rushed her to the vet. Turns out it was an allergy to something we believe outside. She's in the house but now is walked in a different area for bathroom breaks so as not to co...

Thank you everyone! We are very proud. That's umm, Excellent. Let those game line dogs prove what they're really made of. You know it - there will be plenty more ADBA dogs on the OFA website if I have anything to do with it! I took another of my little girls to the UKC pull this past week...

Thank you for taking a look at them.

I will clarify that our vet has the option of sediation but my preference is if they can get clear radiographs w/o it than please do so. There are no sandbags used at this vet either just some really patient vet techs.

Now the hard part....the wait! :)

Called OFA today and they are processing both of them today so we may know something as early as the first part of the second week of March (but who is counting, right?). She said I could call her and check on the status. They were delayed a day because the OFA person who handles the digital x-rays ...
