Nevermind - I called the shelter and he was dog tested upon intake in January with a medium sized female dog and did great.

I think I'm going to try this kibble out, after being on Orijen/Acana for the past 2 years, I'm ready to switch kibbles and this brand is in my top 3 to try!

The phosphorous levels are also what you need to look at . Kidney issues in dogs means they also need lower phosphorous. Not to mention lots of moisture!
