Mouthy pup

I have a very mouthy pup and tried the mouthy pup thread guidelines, but my Mika still bites at my hands, feet, clothes, ... Are there any alternative solutions maybe? I did not try the bittertasting spray yet, I might give that a shot. How long did it take for your pup to stop mouthing and "at...

I don't get people like that... I am 19, I am a student and therefore I don't exactly have the ideal financial situation. I don't know whether I will be living in Austria or Belgium next year but what I do know is that I will do whatever it takes to keep my sweetypie with me. If I can do it then I d...

Hmm, idk, I don't like the sound of "gluing" very much and she does not like tape (this other method I found) soooo I guess it will have to be solved with a good old little prayer and an "oh well, you#re still the cutest thing I have ever seen" if her ears decide that this is for...

"There are people like me out there, I see them all the time at my shelter. They come in specifically for those who no one else will take... "

That just makes me well up.

I hope Tonka gets a little (a lot!) of TLC in her last months/years, she looks like such a cheery gal.

Jack Russel ears?

My pup's ears sort of hang to the front, kind of like jack russel ears. Is there any way to make her ears looks more like pittie ears? I've read about surgery...but i really don't wanna put her through that for something so trivial.

I guess first of all it depends on the duration and the intensity of the taunting. Second of all: his reaction might not be the most common one, regardless of the intensity and duration of the taunting, but I guess it is understandable.

Mika goes to puppy school

Today I took Mika to a puppy school for the first time. The aim of this particular course is to improve your puppy's focus, learn some tricks and to socialize with other puppies. Today we mostly did the latter. There were about 5 other pups, all about twice her size, so I was a little hesitant when ...

When I got my first dog Tex, we taught him how to sit, give a paw, lie down and roll over. we always did this in the same order and at the end gave him a cookie. He is 7 already but even now when you show him a cookie he sits, throws a quick paw at you while falling down and rolling over :p
