To be honest, that amount of exercise is great. If you keep it up the extra weight will melt away unless you are overfeeding. The guidelines on the feed bags are estimates - you need to adjust according to the needs of your dog. oh def we have given him less food the past couple weeks and we have s...

You may have a canine rehabilitation center in your area, they often offer pool time for a minimal fee (you get the pool to yourself for 30min or an hour usually). If not too bad, but when the weather warms you should definitely take him swimming! Do you think having him on a 30 foot line while get...

Ok well, I don't really know, but I'll give it a shot. Walks probably wont help too much with muscle defining, but they may help him to slim down a bit if he's chubby. Flirt pole probably will help with the muscles. Also, is there a place you can take him swimming? Swimming and also running in sand...

The same thing happened with my dog before I started exercising her. The fat melted away from her biceps and thighs, and a little from her ribs...

11 mos. and he's 75lbs already? i think you should cut the food he's been taking, that can help to tone him a little bit and show more muscle. The exercise you've been giving him is pretty descent so just keep it up but I also think he's still young and you should give him more time to bulk/fill ou...

Re: How to Make a Dog Vomit

FIRST: IF IN DOUBT, CALL YOUR VET. There are some poisons / items that are best left in the dog. Inducing vomiting could cause further damage in some cases. Most vets will tell you over the phone to induce vomiting or not. In the case of ibuprophen it always a 'make them vomit', as the longer the p...
