Re: Lost of Appetite

Thanks a lot Kingsgurl. Yeah, maybe somehow its my fault. My other pitbulls are not like this one, 'coz they are aware that after 10mins and if they still not finish eating then wait for the next meal time. Actually, I never leave unfinished food with them, its that just I want him to finish his foo...

Re: Lost of Appetite

You said you already had him to the vet for a work-up? How much are you feeding him? How much of that does he eat? Is he on a schedule? Is he underweight (as in can you see his hip bones?) The vet sees no sign of any illness or anything. He is in perfect condition he said. I'm feeding him 2 cups pe...

Lost of Appetite

Hi guys, It's been a while since I posted here. I think the last time was when I'm seeking help with my dogs mange. Thanks to all that helped me, its now solved. But here's another problem, hope I could also get some input regarding this here. My dog is already 16 months old. Ever since, I never had...

We just had a check up with the vet today, my boy has a demodectic mange, unluckily on near his right eye. He injected Ivermectin and the treatment will be every week for 6 weeks, and after he still has to do some mange control to prevent it. Here are some photos of him, do you think I can use NuSto...

Guys, Sorry to be such a thread jacker, I just don't want to create another thread just asking this question. Here in our country, we are having a Canidae shortage... I really can't seem to find any place to buy even the old formula. So I'm having a dilemma which feed to buy as a best replacement fo...

Really have to ask for your comments on my ideas. Im feeding my dogs canidae, and previously I want to switch them to raw. I tried pork and beef because they don't react good on chickens. I want to add some veggies on their ground beef or pork, like carrots or potatos and a little amount of garlic. ...

I think at early as 10 or 12 weeks or 2-½ months you can get your pit ears cropped. Although 7 months old or more could still have their ears done, I would not recommend it because it will be more painful because the cartilage were more developed plus the amount of anesthesia the vet have to put on ...

I also avoid onion but feed garlic in small quantities in my raw vegetable mixture. I also don't know about a coat/skin benefit but Amie clued me in to the tick deterrent info. I haven't bought Frontline for my dogs all summer and they are critter free. If you did decide to feed garlic I would feed...

Discharge on Mr. Clay

Guys, Just got a message from my wife, our pitbull puppy Mr. Clay is not feeling well today, still got 1 hour here at the office so practically I'm useless. She just happen to notice a green-yellowish discharge on Mr. Clay's male member. I already asked my wife if she makes sure that Mr. Clay had en...

Q: Garlic?

Guys, Is't true that adding minced garlic in your dogs food can give him/her nice coat? Some claimed that it really works but the dilemma is that I've read somewhere that Garlic and Onions have a bad effect to our doggies health. Am really confuse about this, kindly enlighten me guys. TIA. :crybaby:
