It sounds like you had a great team working on Lucy and that she is very lucky for not only that but to have a great owner willing to do all this for her.

I am glad to hear she is progressing so well! :peace:

Doberpit, tell the vet the crop for a Presa is an Amstaff crop. There is a diagram on one of the websites..cant remember which one that has a diagram of exactly how they should be cut. I will look for it for you and post it if I can find it. If the pup is only ten weeks old I think the ears should s...

If the pup is only 10 weeks old I dont see the harm in taping them for a while. Our dog was cropped at 9 weeks old and her ears were either held up with foam/ taped for 6 weeks...maybe a little exessive but I figured it couldnt hurt and her ears stand great now.

A Question for those with cropped dogs only...

I am not trying to start ANOTHER debate... but I had asked a question to those with dogs that have cropped ears in the other thread and it was locked before I got any responces. Do your dogs who have cropped ears leave the in the upright position most of the time, or do they move them around alot in...

Hi there, Jada did this as a pup as well. I was worried about her and asked around and what i found was that alot of pups in fact do this same thing. T me it seemed like it happened when she did not have full weight on the leg and therefore it shook a little. Our pup grew out of this and I bet yours...

I have a question for those of you who have cropped dogs. With all this talk of expression and not being able to read dogs with cropped ears as well, etc I was wondering how much your cropped dogs move their ears? Jada's ears are cropped but I would say 50-60% of the time they are not in the upright...

I have tried Turkey, Beef, Chicken, Deer, Salmon, & Pork. The only one I have not tried is rabbit .

She will not eat turkey, beef or pork. She likes deer but we get it so seldom that I cant really count that one. She gets chicken 6 days a week and salmon once a week.
