I'll add my satisfaction with Merrick BG. My 9mo old pup has been on the Salmon and Buffallo for about 4 months. I might add that I also feed him raw chicken and green tripe too.

My pup Chance had a binine bump about the size of a dime removed on his side. It looked kinda scary, but when the vet saw it, she said in most cases it's nothing to worry about, we had the vet do a biopsy just to be sure, and sure enough..it was binine..whew! Sending good vibes your pups way.. :)) B...

To the OP. We just spent $600.00 to have a binine growth the size of which was about 1/2 the size of a dime. Included in the price was a colar ($24.00) that we didn't have to use. On the up side, they kept him overnight until about 1pm the next day to make sure he was doin o.k. So in the grand schem...

Innova canned puppy food seemed to work the best for my pup..I also gave him Merrick BG (before grain) kibble. Once he got use to both foods he stopped clearing rooms with his smelly farts.. lol

One way to eliminate farts all together is feeding RAW..

Ditto on whqat Maryellen said, as she gave me the same advice. I found that a hind quarter works well, and serves as a complete meal. This is for my pup that weighs 59 lbs.

You'll be getting her into the vet ASAP though for her puppy vaccines since she could get parvo (being unvaccinated)

Poop ? Is it Normal.?

Gave my 8 mo. pup a 1/4 leg of raw chicken last night for dinner, though he still wanted more.. lol Anyways this morning when he pooped, it was real hard. Is that normal, or do I need to add something at feeding time..?I do give him enzymes to help digestion. TIA

For the past couple of months I have been feeding my pup almost 8 mos. Merrick BG/ before grain Salmon, just recently switched to the buffalo which he loves. At first he had stinky farts, now he has none.. BTW, I tried TOTW, and a few other top line foods, so far he's doin great!! :peace:
