sounds like its tough in the streets. glad to see you have a firearm to protect your castle. do your two dogs make some noise when somebody comes in the front door? if they do, then i would suggest that is enough to deter the average burglar. i can completely understand your desire to secure the for...

haha yeah. i don't see why it would be anymore complex than that. it may be though, what do i know.

its probably a nice texture for them. kind of soft, kind of crunchy.

thanks everybody. the pup is coming along nicely with his cat related manners. while i'm present, there is certainly no harm in letting them sleep together right? its just too cute.

something to worry about? (cat related) -video included

i know these two are just playing here. but can this sort of thing turn into aggression? i do not egg the pup on in any way, and he can relax while being near the cat. he is only six and a half weeks here, so the cat is still able to push him off of her if she wants. should i work on correcting this...

file a police report that the kids are harassing him also. x2 if you can get some sort of proof of this, that would be fantastic. this way, if there is a worse case scenario, there will be an official documentation of a history of these kids provoking the pup on your property. if you could get the ...

in my opinion, something like that doesn't happen on accident twice. also, cats are cautious and sensitive animals, and will distance them selves from unwanted roughness. if a cat allows a dog to play with them, there is no way a cat will stick around when the dog even begins to play a little rough.

check the color of her pee. if it is still yellow, then thats a good sign of kidney function. but if her pee is crystal clear, then she may have kidney problems. the yellow tint in pee is kidney bile, so no yellow = no kidney bile = kidney failure.

trip to the vet no matter what though.

thanks for the complements everybody! i'm beyond excited to pick my baby up in a few weeks. i have to wait until october 3rd. i don't mind though, i'm getting everything in order now. Again, be wary of dog parks (see sticky that was recommended). Also, don't have puppy play dates until after your pu...

thanks for the welcomes everybody! May I ask what prompted you to buy from a breeder? I personally opt for rescues, but I don't disagree with the idea of buying from a breeder either, but thats just me :) i'm completely on the same page as you actually. my first pit, Muppy, was a rescue. Also, every...

Yeah, I love Bethlehem. Maybe I know your friends. You're absolutely right about picking the name to suit the personality. That is what I have done with all of my animals, and its always worked out for the best. I don't think I could handle two pitbulls, haha. I love them to pieces, but they are a h...
