Grain Free, LowProtein diet for Skin, Kidney & Behavior?

I'm considering switching Emma's food, but after researching and reading tons of threads on here about different foods, I am TOTALLY confused! I'm sure it's been answered somewhere but I'm so overwhelmed by all of the info that I'm starting a new thread (sorry)! I'm hoping for feedback & suggest...

Re: Does this Muzzle look like the right fit?

Baskerville now makes it in a light blue, so I got that one. Works great and Emma is totally conditioned to it now! A couple weeks of putting it on slowly and for a minute or two at a time, and she's oblivious to it now... Yay! I wish they made it in pink, but the light blue is still less Hannibal-y...

Re: Does this Muzzle look like the right fit?

Maybe try some engagement games, so she learns its fun? : ) This video kind of shows what you can do with food to build engagement and excitement while working. (I don't endorse Leerburg's stuff, but this video by itself is a very nice example) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iiTMEA4vZ3s And food ch...

Re: Does this Muzzle look like the right fit?

That looks good to me : ) And yeah, I sort of understand the whole image thing, but I don't think it's worth risking the other possibilities. An aggressive incident with contact is a far worse image than a simple muzzle. Does she have any really fun behaviors that she likes to do? With Dakota and g...

Re: Does this Muzzle look like the right fit?

Looks too small to me. If you desensitize the muzzle slowly and properly you shouldn't have to worry about her trying to paw it off. But also, the head strap+proper tightness, and sticking a collar through the little collar loop should prevent that. Thank you so much for the feedback, Celeste! Your...

Does this Muzzle look like the right fit?

Hey guys! Hoping I can get some feedback on Emma' muzzle size. I feel like it is a good, secure fit, but I just worry that she needs more panting room. She won't need to wear it too often, just 30 minutes at a time if we're all hanging out in the living room, and for short walks (20 - 30 minutes). I...

Re: Any Science/Legit Studies that back up Dominance Theory?

Yep, I have lots of info and links to the contrary as well. Just no scientific info to support this stuff... no surprise!

Any Science/Legit Studies that back up Dominance Theory?

I personally don't believe in the whole dominance or alpha thing, but I'm curious if anyone knows if there is any actual scientific research or backing of it? Do any scientists or certified behaviorists back this stuff? I had a 'discussion' with someone about this recently (we disagree on the subjec...

Sturdy Dog Stairs that actually work?

Hey guys... I did a search and didn't find anything on this here, so I'll try a new thread- hoping someone out there has had luck with doggie stairs that actually support heavy dogs! I want to get some for the bed, but everything I've seen in stores and online looks so flimsy. Has anyone found any t...

Emma's Mama... seriously thank you so much! It is just wonderful to know that someone understands. How is Emma doing now? If you can think of any serious no-no's you did with Emma that I can avoid, or anything that especially worked well, I would love to learn from your experience. I have purchased...
