We took Dozer to a class taught by the Southern Michigan Obedience Training Club. They had classes scheduled throughout the year at different locations, I think ours was in Berkley. They were great and fairly inexpensive. I remember our trainer thanking me for being a responsible pit bull owner, whi...

I have been making my own treats. I found a great and easy recipe for a tuna dog treat and a peanut butter dog treat. Only took me a couple minutes to make and then bake in the oven. They love them, and they were cheap to make! Also, dried bananas and apricots, they go crazy over those. Small pieces...

Ty has allergies and I was recommended by the vet to give him allergy medicine. After blood tests, of course. He is allergic to quite a bit and we give him Claritin.

I also feed twice a day, in the morning before work and when I get home. Seems that every dog I have seen that was able to free feed became overweight.

My Dozer gets scraped up quite often because of the shrubs in my back yard. His skin will scab up and look a lot like that until the scab falls off and the scrape completely heals.

I was told my my vet that the laser procedure healed quicker than the normal. I think I paid between $100.00 and $150.00 for mine. They charged a bit more for a bigger dog, so Bruno's was cheaper than the others.
