Re: Favorite Names that are NOT over used!

I did Waffles & Pancakes for a pair of puppies once. Foods are my favorite theme for litters. Salsa, Burrito, Fajita, Nacho, Taco, Churro. Eggroll, Tofu, Wonton, Lo Mein, Chow Mein, General Tso. Hummus, Falafel, Olive, Pita, Sesame, Chickpea. You can get pretty funny with them. Male names: Arlo,...

Data Management Software

The rescue I volunteer with is looking into getting some kind of data management program. It has to be internet based, and compatible with both PCs and Macs. We're not looking to spend a fortune here, as we're not a huge operation, we just need a reliable way to manage data. I have experience with P...

Re: Names I'd like to never hear again*

I used to name animals at the shelter I worked at. We never used the same name twice, so we really had to be creative with names, and I always got sick of the volunteers being like "Wtf, why did you name him that?". Uh, because Buddy, Midnight, Maddie, Peanut, and Bella are boring and name...

Re: DECLAWED 9 y/o Paisley, dog/cat/kid friendly Pit in Indiana!

Unfortunately, I cannot take her. She seems like an awesome dog. I love the oldies. What part of Indiana is she in? She's in Lafayette...which is west-central IN. About an hour north of Indy. Hopefully she won't need this offer. How far are you form Auburn, IN? I'll be there March 20th, and am will...

DECLAWED 9 y/o Paisley, dog/cat/kid friendly Pit in Indiana!

Paisley has been looking for a home for quite some time so I figured, why not show her off to the PBF members and see if anyone falls in love with her?? Paisley was adopted from a HS in Indiana EIGHT years ago and was 4-paw declawed, yes, declawed by her crazy owner who didn't like the clicking nois...

Re: A013740, Wichita KS

Which specific shelter is he at? (you can PM if you don't want to publicize it) I couldn't find him on Petharbor site, it said ID not found. One of my good friends has close connections to MABBR. I can see what she can do. I'm a lurker, don't really post, but I read the whole thread in General and w...

Never, that's a surefire way to get worms if I ever heard one! Giardia often comes from stagnant water and is a pain to treat.

Yes, Parvo is killer, and I don't think people realize how easy it is for a dog to get it, but also how easy it is to prevent it...even adult dogs can get parvo if they've never been vaccinated! Three $10 vaccines....or parvo treatment costing upwards of $1000 with the risk of the dog dying? (then a...

She looks more pittie than Am Staff, but I think she has another breed or two thrown in.
