Re: What is this?

I'd go with tablets since she is more likely to lick off the cream. Reno has allergies but never had anything like this. That's why I kind of freaked out lol I spoke to my aunt who's English Bulldog has severe allergies and she said he gets stuff like this. She said her vet told her to clean it and...

True. Thank you. I'll pick some up after work. What about the benadryl cream?

Re: What is this?

Just curious, is she spayed? If so, Maybe a irritation from the surgical area? Jade gets irritation on her belly, and a cpl of her nipples get swollen red and crusty. Vet says it is allergies. :-/ Yes she's spayed. She got spayed last year around this time. And the redness is right where her incisi...

Re: Farting Problem

As Molly asked?? Hmm, what exactly constitutes "sensitive stomach" in Reno's case? I find that the more you switch foods around the worse the gas gets. We gave a foster Kirklands at first to fatten him up because he was suuuper underweight then switched to TOTW and it took a month for the...

Re: Farting Problem

He hasn't had a bully stick in about 2 weeks (I wanted to see if they were part of the problem plus cut back on treats). And he doesn't get a full bully stick. I get him the braided ones and untangle then because he inhales him. So he only gets a piece of it.

Re: Farting Problem

Thanks mtlu! I'll look into that :) Reno's been on the Natural Balance for months now. He was switched from Nutro (as a pup; breeder had him on it), to Wellness, then to Natural Balance. Reno's a year and 5 months and we gave him a few months with each food. So I don't think its the food changes. As...

Farting Problem

Reno has a very sensitive stomach. We've switched his food several times, seeing what works for him. Natural Balance Sweet Potato and Fish seemed to do the job. His farting lessened and didn't smell as bad. Well, it started up again (the farting). So we decided to switch him to Innova. Is there anyt...

Update

Reno's surgery was pushed back, however, the bump healed before the date. It completely went down and scabbed up. Weird but I'm thankful. I wonder what it could have been?

Re: Prayers for Reno!

know how hard it is not to worry, but try to stay focused and calm if your able. I thought they were going to send me to the hospital the day I took my puppy in for his removal and it was all fine and good in the end. They called my now ex-husband, as they thought I was not abe to drive myself home...

Re: Prayers for Reno!

I would think histiocytoma, which are benign. "a histiocytoma is "a benign skin tumor, usually seen in young dogs, that often spontaneously regresses without treatment." " They are removing it most likely because it COULD be a mast cell tumor- though not likely. JD had one at ab...
