Sending Bean well wishes - our Trusty had it about three years ago - it was tough going there for a while, but he pulled through - and I am sure Bean will as well!

I hope you and the 'Angels' feel better soon. I'd definitely remove the exposure to trigger points, and I'd separate, crate and rotate for some time for now ... each dog is different and yours may see a peaceful relationship again after a while (minus triggers), but they may not. From my own experie...
