If the test results come out clean, and it is just the food... i sometimes put a small spoon of canned food into the dry food mix, and my dog will eat everything up.

My dog pulls my bf on a skateboard for about 15 blocks or so at least 3 times a week. That's only about a mile or so... but she's pulling my bf, so by the time we get home, she is happy & tired (that she sleeps through the whole night).

The high starch and sugar content of Beneful will certainly not help any stomach sensitivity issues. I suggest adding canned pumpkin or yogurt (or both) as mentioned....and switching foods. Make sure when you switch, you feed less. Beneful has very little calories per cup, so it's likely that when ...

Re: Mikey made me feel bad....

I was actually looking into the same... and from the neighbors, friends, and coworkers that had dogs... about 50% have pet insurance, and the other 50% doesn't. I guess it's pretty much up to you, and how often you think your dog will get sick or intend to go to the hospital. I've been told that VPI...

So, why are stainless steel bowls suggested for raw feeding instead of heavy duty plastic dog bowls? Is it for sanitary purposes? Does the plastic retain some of the moisture and make it dangerous? I ask because I recently made the switch to stainless steel and my dogs push the damned bowls everywh...

Yeah... if she's sick and not feeling well, I wouldn't introduce her. You want her to be in a good mood when she meets people, so she associates it with positive feelings.

I should also say that my bf walks my dog at 8am, and I walk her again around 5pm. We both walk her again around 10pm.

I just got my dog from a shelter a few weeks ago, and she was growling at everybody. What I did was always talk to the person first, so that my dog understands from my body language that the person is not a threat. Then what I did was hand the person a treat, checked the dog again to see that she wa...
