Re: Roscoe has a broken canine

Ranger managed to damage all 4 of his canines during a separation anxiety episode in his crate. 3 of them had exposed pulp. We ended up taking him to a specialist and got root canals done on the 3 with exposed pulp. We did not get expensive crowns put on, we just had a restoration where they are smo...

Re: Separation Anxiety

I think Ranger might have SA. He used to have "stress poops" when we didn't crate him. Sometimes he'd eat the poop then vomit. Once when he was left alone at a friend's house he broke through a window. We started crating him and he stopped the stress poops. He is crate trained, actually go...

Re: Cat has a bubble? In his butt?

Still waiting on our appointment, I think I'm more concerned than Ratchet is, were it up to me someone's tiny dog's shot appointment would wait and my idiot cat would go in right away. Ratchet's pretty angry with me right now, I haven't let him outside since Sunday evening and he's going bonkers. H...

Raw Soup Bones

So, I've been trying to find a better chew for my dogs than bully sticks or those pig skin twists. I read on a few different forums that raw knuckle bones are good, and that they are sold as soup bones in the grocery store. I found a couple at the store, but I wanted to make sure these are the right...

Every dog is different, some can thrive on low quality food, some do poorly on high quality food.

I've gotten Ranger transitioned to TOTW highlands formula about a month ago, his poops look really good, they are smaller, they stink less, and he is more regular than he was with Blue Buffalo. I'm working on switching the GSD over to it as well, but she's taking longer to adjust, with her sensitive...

Hello

Hello, everyone. I am April. I live in central Indiana with my boyfriend. We have 2 dogs, 3 cats, and 6 rats. The dogs are Ranger and Dooku. Ranger is a male pit mix that my boyfriend found as a stray before I met him. We aren't exactly sure what his breed is. Dooku is a female GSD that my mom bough...
