ive heard that it could be things like, other dog marking that area which causes it, it could really be a number of things. occasionally bella will do it, i normally just turn around and walk a few steps away from that spot then quickly turn back and try to walk past where she stops, it works 9 time...

bella slept for most of the night when i pick her up, she barely ate or did much of anything, after about 2 days she was back to normal though, it was a pain stopping her from jumping off everything...

sorry that you and doc didnt get your title, from what ive seen and heard Schutzhund is very, very difficult to train for, it wouldve taken alot of effort just to get that far so congrats on that..

im using a chain leach at the moment wiht a padded nylon handle, ive done some reserch and asked around and have decided on a rope leash. its double bradied marine rope with a 2.5 tonne breaking limmit, 10mm thick with a heavey duty bullsnap i dont mind the chain, i just dont trust the nylon handle...

chain leashes are uncomfortable to use, i have one and use it with bella because she chews through nylon ones, if she didnt do that i would use a nylon or rope lead..
