Re: Sooki The Pit Bull Survives Machete Attack *Graphic*

I saw this on a snake forum and was just about to post it. Only a pittie could take that and still wag her tail. I hope she finds a great loving home. You all already know what I hope for the sub-human who did that.

Re: Taste of the Wild

I've switched to mostly raw, and am happy with the results, but I defy anyone to tell me you don't have to put a lot of either a) time or b) money into it. The only kibbles I alternate/supplement with are TOTW, Timber Wolf, and Innova Evo. For the price, I've not found a grain free food that is clos...

While it is not the end all, be all; dogfoodanalysis.com gives a pretty good breakdown on most kibbles, ranking them from one to 6 stars. Purina One gets a one, the lowest rating. Insufficient meat content and too many grains, by-products, etc. I have yet to walk in a vet's office that sold healthy ...

Wouldn't meat inclusive of water content = kibble and a same amount of drinking water? I feed well over half raw these days, but a high protein grain-free rotation fills out the rest. If I were to use exclusively dry kibble, I would lean towards Evo, TOTW, and Timberwolf like I add to the meat mix n...

More NC folks, cool!

Yeah, there's a sample "about me" stickied on the top of this sub-forum. And we'd love to see the dogs!

I supplement with flax seed oil all the time. Really seems to help the coat. I feed mostly TOTW bison (just because of the higher protein than Pacific Stream formula), but rotate Innova Evo Red Meat, and Timber Wolf, plus mix in any bag that occasionally gets damaged in my store! I'm unaware of the ...

At the next stage of processing bull penises are stretched, twisted or braided, dried and then may be smoked for flavor.

I really, really hope there is a machine that does that. Otherwise, someone has a much worse job than I do.

My girls love 'em, but they are way too pricey for what they are/how quick they get gone! If you like processed treats, Merrick has a big 2# bag of goodness called "Hungry Dog Super Value Pack" that has bully sticks, hoofs, pig ears, tendons, knuckles, etc. that retail for only 12 bucks. T...

I honestly, seriously, truthfully and any other word I can think of... don't think "Puppy formulas" offer a damn thing more than the next formula of the same manufacturer. A quality grain-free kibble that agrees with *your* dog is good for all life stages; needed supplementation is always ...

Wow! http://i43.tinypic.com/161079.gif That said, I don't know if my dog could go on living without her spring pole! It's amazing exercise, and there is nothing a high drive bulldog would rather do. My backyard neighbors complained to me about her growling on it once, but fortunately they have fence...

I had bad results with raw on Rose. I changed gradually, but her stools stayed loose and her eyes wept more (opposite of what I was told). Other people I know say it worked miracles with their dogs. TOTW Pacific Stream made Rose's coat noticeably softer in a week or two. Shortie KEPT dirty ears on t...
