Re: Your advice for healthy skin..shiny coat

I've been very lucky and blessed with 2 dogs and good coats. A top quality food will do wonders. I do have a little secret before show shampoo... Ring 5 Texture Plus-- it has mink oil, collegen(sp?), and lanolin oil followed up with Miracle Groom 5 in 1 spray on a rag before we go into the ring----...

Re: Diesel | Blue & white male puppy in S FL

My wife and I have been talking about getting another dog, it would need to be male though, since Daisy is a female (spayed)...we are still in the discussion stages though...my only problem is the drive from coast to coast, lol

Re: Nail Clipping

what do you do if the dog starts chewing on the pedi paws while your trimming or freaks out when she sees the clippers i have to wait till shes sleeping and clip one at a time I would treat while I intorduced the clippers or the pedipaws. It will remind them that when they see the tools it is a goo...

Re: Nail Clipping

You're going to have a hard time getting quicks to recede with just clippers. You have to get down right on top of the quick, and clippers simply can't get as close to a quick as a dremel (or the Pedi Paws). Nails also have to be trimmed VERY regularly for quicks to recede- at least once a week. Wh...

Nail Clipping

Okay, we bought a PediPaws a while ago, but I am a little impatient with it, so this past Sunday I bought a set of guillotine clippers for Daisy. It is just faster and I am more prone to clip her nails more often than with the PediPaws. This first time around I only took a little less than 1/8th of ...

this is exactly why I really dislike spot ons. We tried it and although it was effective it was a pain for me when actually applying it. So, we switched to Comfortis for fleas

Re: Smelling good?

See that is what I mean. My dad's dogs don't really smell either.........they like hardly ever bathe them. I bathe mine once a week at least. I don't do the dog cologne as I have to watch what i put on the dogs because my son breaks out so easy. Cant use perfumy detergents or soaps either. I mean I...
