Re: Slightly Swollen Lymph Nodes-When to worry?

Right now! I know from experience, you don't want to wait when swollen lymphnodes are involved. God forbid, if it is something serious, like lymphoma, you want to know before she starts feeling bad. Hope it's nothing but for sure a trip to vet is needed.

Re: Lymphoma

Update on Piper. She is still in remission :yipee: She has 10 chemo treatments left. She has handled the chemo very well with very little side effects. We have had some skin issues due to her immune system being suppressed but those are starting to clear up. She feels great and is loving life. Here ...

Re: Wallace and Roo are having troubles...

Thanks, guys. We are devastated. He is doing well at the moment, but we know it could turn around. We're just hoping for a nice big chunk of time after his incision finally heals to spend some really fun, quality time with him before he slows down. We appreciate the outpouring of love and support. ...

Re: Lymphoma

Thank you! Y'all be safe as well! I hate hurricane season. I am freaking out a little bit because Piper's oncologist is in Mandeville(outside of NOLA) She has another treatment Thursday so I am hoping that Isaac doesn't mess that up!

Re: Lymphoma

Update on Piper. After a couple of talks with my regualr vet and our onco we decided to switch chemo protocols to the Madison Wisconson CHOP. The hubby and I feel better about this than the original plan of just a single chemo drug. She had her 3rd chemo treatment on Thursday. So far she is doing gr...

Re: Lymphoma

Feeling a little depressed and overwhelmed after Piper's second visit to the oncologist. At the first visit, they gave Piper Elspar. At this visit, she suggested we continue treatment with the CCNU protocol instead of the Wisconson protocol because some of her symptoms point to the lymphoma being in...

Thanks for thinking of us! Piper goes for her second chemo treatment tomorrow. We are both holding up ok. She tolerated her 1st round of chemo well so we hope that it stays that way.

Re: Lymphoma

We had our first round of Chemo yesterday. Oncologist says that Lymphoma responds very well to Chemo(about 80% of dogs go into remission with B cell Lymphoma) They did the test yesterday to find out if it is T-cell or B-Cell. We are praying for B cell because it is much more responsive to the chemo....

Lymphoma

So during Piper's kidney infection ordeal they wanted to asperiate her lymphnodes because they seemed large. Got the results back today, it's Lymphoma. Any information would be greatly appreciated if anyone has gone through this. We go to see the oncologist tomorrow. I am just trying to process this...

Re: Kidney Infection

Yes, a normal poop. Color was a little off but i think it's from medicine. The one before the vet visit was a little loose but that is tottaly normal for Piper. She gets a little carsick.
