Not sure but possible hip dysplasia

Sooooooo... Houdini has a gimp in his leg. I've noticed the first time that Houdini, when he would stand, he wouldn't put his left leg all the way down. I kept on eye on it and then the hubby started to notice. We've made an appointment for his neutering in a 4 days and now we are unsure if the proc...

Crate training

I now have a job and i work 18 hours (Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday) and it's usually early in the morning and I get home in the afternoon. Houdini is in the process of crate training and I hope we are doing it right. Right now, I put his Kong toy inside the crate with him and water also a bow...

Houdini has parvo. He's not looking so great. We are feeding him pedialyte and we have to force feed him. Vet said to give him bland food, chicken with rice and gatorade. I'm thinking we are going to have to force feed him that too. He growled at us when we were giving him pedialyte, just once. The...

tea tree oil is toxic to cats, so if i were to use the aniseptic spray on my counters or to wipe down my counters, i just harmed my cats. they like to climb up on the counters... so rethink that.

also lemon and orange oil is also toxic to dogs.

I've read entirely and carefully through the thread and I can use the image above on my dog and also to clean? Or do I use the bar? :dunno:

i think Houdini needs to find a more stable home. between the both of you it is very unstable there for him. X2. All I am getting out of your posts now is who's right, me or my boyfriend. The real one who's going to suffer over all this is Houdini. And that's okay. Thank's for your advice and every...

Do you grab a dog's face when they are barking?

"Don't do that!"
"I'll do whatever i want."

I mean seriously. :po:

Good question. I heard of a case study (diff breed) where the dog was violently punished, then thrown in a crate. The dog develped rage reactions while in the crate. The crate was not a safe haven, and the dog was pushed to survival reactions while in it. the boyfriend tried to do this when we want...

i hate writing long stuff.

I'm not so sure anymore. I have a HUGE temper problem and him being in personal space (my room, he lives with me) is aggravating. I do things to him that aggravates him too like not picking up laundry when I get it out or yelling at him when I am reading something. "What are you reading... hmmm...

Well that's pretty good that you are getting him checked out and such. So far from I've seen with Houdini and his play fighting, they tend to nip at each other. Just supervise them at all times. There have been times where Houdini's step brothers take it up a notch and we have to pull Houdini out.

I wouldn't let a random stray play with my dog at all first. Diseases and such.
