Re: Blue Ridge Beef - Puppy Mix (Raw)

Thank you for the info. I will not be feeding this stuff to the new pup. I am seeing similar opinions the more I look into their foods.

Re: Blue Ridge Beef - Puppy Mix (Raw)

Reply from the rep regarding calcium and phosphorus levels... "The product must be dried before the analysis is made. We do run calcium and it is different on each product. Puppy mix shows 0.850 on calcium." No answer for phosphorus. I have a month to get comfortable and find the right thi...

Re: Blue Ridge Beef - Puppy Mix (Raw)

If I don't go with the BRB mix, I think I'll put her on Earthborn Holistics until I learn a bit more about feeding raw. I don't want to mess anything up with a growing pup.

I don't have any other information. I can send a message to the rep. What else should I be asking?

Blue Ridge Beef - Puppy Mix (Raw)

Hey everyone! Has anyone used Blue Ridge Beef's Puppy Mix? I'm looking for opinions on this food for a German Shepherd puppy. I talked to the rep, who stated "On the bone or organ we do not do over 10% in any of our products, some organs have to be used sparingly, but our puppy mix has proven t...

Inaras mom wrote:Inara is testing for it at the end of January. My evaluator said I CAN test for more than one level per day, so we'll be testing both the BA and MA. PhD is out of our realm for now, lol.

This is true, you can test for more than one per day.

Re: C.L.A.S.S APDT anyone have their evaluation?

I teach this program and do the evals. I LOVE it! Just did my first two B.A. level evals a few weeks ago and everyone did really well! I love the different "degrees", and feel this will help people get motivated to continue training past the Basic Obedience level. Who wouldn't want their d...

Re: The Poisoned Cue

Dealing with the people in my classes who can hardly work a clicker, bait bag and leash at the same time...I'm not sure some of my students will be able to handle this. I like the idea, makes perfect sense...but how do you put in terms that a 5 year old would understand?

Brucellosis will make dogs infertile. Y'all have already said everything I would have about why this guy should spay/neuter, so I don't have any reason to comment on that.

APDT Rally

Is anyone here involved with APDT Rally? I'm training Maui the first level Rally course now, and I'm teaching a class (as an Intermediate course) starting October. We're having a lot of fun so far, but I haven't seen many people that were involved in it. Just curious if anyone here was doing it. :)

Re: Why do you feed the food you do?

I'm switching my dogs to TOTW Prairie. 30lb bag on Amazon is $51 and shipped free. I had Magnum seen by a holistic vet and she recommended a grain free diet for him, due to his itchy skin. Maui has been gassy lately and I would like to see how they do on the new food. Ordering a bag this week since ...
