Romeo is not in love atm

I rescued him from the city and we're home in the country, about a month ago and I have been noticing his skin has been having issues. He plays a lot in the water, so it could just be dry skin, but the longer I've had him I'm starting to wonder if it's something more. We're gradually switching to RA...

Re: Dealing with Rescues on Adopting

Very true, I had a bad experience with my local rescue which resulted in them trying to take my dog away from me. Hopefully, I can just try the shelter next time around.

Re: When to feed vs when to leave

When I feed them they do go outside for about 30-45 minutes using the potty, but I guess my question is, you can feed them and they wont have a bowel for 8 hrs? My dogs will not intentionally poo in their kennels. I guess I am just afraid of them being in agony holding it in till I arrive home.

When to feed vs when to leave

My husband and I live 45 minutes from Salt Lake City, Utah. Our family lives there including all shopping centers ect. When we go, we kennel Sadie and Cesar, I don't like leaving them outside, plus its SEVERELY hot out there. Were gone about 6-8 hrs. This is occasionally, maybe 1-3 times a week. Any...

Probably allergies

I let the dogs out one more time last night before bed, when I let them back in, Sadie came over to me and sat right in front of me, and her eyes were all gooey, it was clear but I immediately ran outside to see what she may have gotten into or wth was going on, there wasn't anything I could see tha...

Re: HELP! Our dog has suddenly become aggressive

From what I have learned pits mature much later in life and can have complete personality changes in what they like, dislike and will tolerate. Also, dogs that have been raised together for years can decide one day they don't like each other anymore and will seriously injury or kill the other. Thank...

Re: Pet Insurance, VPI Ect.

Hmm I guess they don't cover preventive care  Why doesn't Petplan cover Routine Care? Routine care is as much a part of keeping your pet healthy as taking your dog for a walk. Annual check-ups or vaccinations can easily be planned and budgeted for, whereas an unexpected accident or illness can ...

Re: Pet Insurance, VPI Ect.

So PetPlan doesn't cover anything preventive? Exams, vaccinations, ect? Petplan policies provide the most comprehensive reimbursement for veterinary fees relating to treatment administered by a licensed veterinarian for illness or injury (provided that it is not pre-existing or occurred during a wai...
