Or just take her in the morning if they're still there for the injection. I am thinking its possibly poision ivy? I dont have anyt...

Dog covered in hives- help!

I have a white pit/am bulldog mix. She is very sensitive but has not had people food of any kind lately. She woke up with about 6-8 hives on her, mostly on her back legs. I gave her a small dose of benadryl and the ones that were there started to go away and some new ones appeared. hours later i gav...

Re: Found Pit Mix in South Florida

Melody, you can halt all attempts for a foster home. I dont know full circumstances, but the dog was not anywhere to be found at the barn today. I dont know if she was inside, chained, loose... but i got a text at 7 am saying the dog was gone, either left or stolen . Im thankful foor all good vibes ...

And i was just informed she will be giving her until the end of the weekend before taking her to the shelter. Re: Found Pit Mix in South Florida

He definitely knows, And if something like that came up, I'd report him for animal abuse and neglect. He's lucky I'm not oging to as it is because my only goal is to find her a good, loving home.

Re: Found Pit Mix in South Florida

OMG, even worse, I found out the Owner is known. Its my friends neighbors, daughters, boyfriend's. He threw the dog out on the streets, shes barely 30 lbs. So no need to see if her owner is looking for her at the shelter. :po:

Re: Found Pit Mix in South Florida

Hey Melody. Thanks again for all your efforts. Please excuse my rant, but i have gotten 4 seperate responses on craigslist and all ahve been completely ^%&% up! One woman lived at home with just herself , had a yard, but no money to care for a dog. The one guy said he had a family, an unaltered ...

Found Pit Mix in South Florida

A friend of mine found a pit mix roaming through a really good part of town. She has two dogs at home, so the mutt is staying at her barn. I am helping her look for a new home, or maybe by word of mouth, the original owners. She looks young but who knows?? http://hphotos-snc3.fbcdn.net/hs019.snc3/12...

Re: 7 months old and on joint supplements

This is the closest picture i could find of her feet. Anyways, shouldnt the doctor have LOOKED at her feet before simply taking my word for it? She is the doctor after all. http://i576.photobucket.com/albums/ss202/LetaGrlShowU/chaosfeet.jpg What do you all think? Its her front left foot thats bother...

Re: 7 months old and on joint supplements

Well, her feet definitely dont do that. Its alot less severe if similar at all. Itd not that her ankle is extended and tursn outward, it is simply her paws that are at a 20-30 degree angle outward. Its not so bad, but i thought to mention it at the visit. Chaos has now been on joint supplement and R...

Re: Gross and Intimate girl dog question (with pictures!)

Intact females as you have noticed have slightly larger "cookies" [as I call them] then spayed females. The more breedings that occur the larger the "cookie". Since Liberty was spayed later in life her "cookie" is larger than a female that was spayed as a puppy ...

Re: 7 months old and on joint supplements

I would probably talk to the vet about a glucosamine/chondroitin/MSM/hyaluronic acid/vitamin C/EFA regime of supplements, too. There might be other supplements you can give, too. Generally if the dog is on Rimadyl for a while then you need to do frequent blood tests to check that no kidney or liver...

Please elaborate as I had reservations of possible long term side affects. Is this your concern? Or just because pain killers arent a resolution?
