Re: I have to be the unluckiest pet owner/human being

Thanks everyone! I really appreciate it  I know that it could be much worse and I'm lucky that I have my husband and pup to keep me warm at night. I am looking for a part-time evening job that will work with my schedule (not easy to come by). My husband is considering his options. Taking a lowe...

I have to be the unluckiest pet owner/human being

I have not been on here in a while. My life has been crazy, and not in a good way. This is a self-pity vent, so I will understand if nobody responds. I figured someone may be able to relate, though. My husband and I got engaged in the spring of 2011. Started planning the wedding and set a date for S...

Humping small children

Hello PBFers, I've been MIA the better part of 2012. We got married over the summer, my husband was laid off right before the wedding, and then his father died when we got back from our honeymoon. It's been a challenge. I hope everyone is doing well here! I am posting about Blu and his reactions to ...

Re: Riddle's TTA recovery thread

Good wishes to her and you both.

Blu had a TTA in September and - while the first few nights were sleepless and I had a few moments of panic during the recovery period - he healed perfectly and I'm glad we did it.

The fruitables brand canned pumpkin digestive supplement is awesome. Always helps Blu.

Re: Pet Insurance

I currently have trupanion, and our rates went up $7 a month recently. So after reading about healthy paws on this thread. I was curious to check it out. They have a bilateral exclusion for cruciate repairs. So if Blu blew his other knee it would not be covered. With trupanion, I was told it would b...

Bag of food left in rain

I placed an order on petflow.com for Blu's new food. Well, it's downpouring here in New Jersey today, and I just got home to a cardboard box literally falling apart with water and the bag of food inside. The kibble and inside of the bag seems dry (outside of the bag is soaked). Would you feed the ki...

Re: Go! Natural Salmon and Oatmeal - recipe change

Blu is getting some yeasty areas, which could be the season, but it correlates rather closely to the addition of potatoes to the formula. He also had to go on abx from all his itching. I am going to try a bag of this (Horizon Pulsar) and switch Blu over very slowly. I have to order it online because...

Red, how are your pups doing on Horizon? I am looking at it myself now, specifically Pulses.

Re: Go! Natural Salmon and Oatmeal - recipe change

I am purchasing another bag of GO, because I just don't know what to do.

Nature's Logic looks good if not a little pricey. I have never heard of Horizon, I will look into it.

Go! Natural Salmon and Oatmeal - recipe change

Blu has been doing SO well for the past year on Go! Natural Salmon and Oatmeal. Today I saw on their website that they've changed the formula, adding potatoes. http://www.petcurean.com/for-dogs/go/sensitivity-and-shine-salmon" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; http://www.petcurean.com/PD...
