Re: Neutered or Natural?

Neuter is cuter. One thing that isn't aesthetically pleasing to me on this forum is the photos of intact male dogs where their junk is a hangin' and a swingin' in plain view. It wouldn't be so bad if this was a malamute or german shepherd forum or something along those lines, but the bullies have sh...

Very handsome dog-friendly Pit Bull in Houston

http://www.lonestarboxerrescue.com/animals/detail?AnimalID=1267835 I always check up on this boy and admire him from afar. Unfortunately we are in an apartment so a rescue would have rejected us for adoption since we already had 2 dogs at the time of adding a 3rd. This guy just sounds so great thou...

Re: HELLO ALL!!

Welcome :) My first dog I got as a puppy 3 years ago have been with me through a lot of heartache so I know the feeling! Please don't support BYBs in the future though(for many, many reasons)...always flag those breeder ads as they are prohibited on CL :)

Re: Mike and Bruiser from MS...

Wow your story sounds just like mine! My boyfriend and I adopted a chocolate pit bull from the city shelter last month, our first pit too, she's around a year, and we too are training and working with her to prove to our community that these dogs can make excellent family companions and outstanding ...

Re: red nose with fur loss around the eyes

I would do the skin scrapes, demodetic mange is pretty common. However, runny eyes isn't a symptom. So you may be looking at 2 seperate problems. I myself would guess allergies. I've been seeing a homeopathic vet for my dog's skin issues and it's been very helpful. What kind of skin issues does you...

Re: Top 5 Foods

I have fed Natural balance, Wellness, Nutro Natural Choice, Bil-Jac, California natural, Canidae ALS, and EVO. Did away with the nutro and bil-jac after finding out they are crap. I loved loved loved the results of my 3 yr old husky on Canidae but then they changed the formula and added more grains/...

Re: What is your exercise schedule for your dog(s) each day?

We have 3 dogs in a 1 bedroom apartment so for now they get about 2-3 walks a day and nearly 2 hours at the dog park almost every day.

Re: Natural Balance food

I just switched my GSD from Wellness to Natural Balance sweet potato and fish and he LOVES it. He hated the wellness and it took everything in him to muster up the courage to take a bite. He was on Wellness ocean whitefish and we couldn't figure out for the longest time why his stools were hit and m...
