i wonder if it is just the trauma and scar tissue...

will the lump go down? hair grow back?

i just never see the dog chewing or licking on it

hes in the crate when im away...cant imagine him hurting his tail in there...just enough room to do a 360 and stand up

went to another vet for a 2nd opinion after running out of the anti biotic which has cleared up the abdomen infection... the vet does not think it is ringwors or cancerous...vet noticed these lumps were all forming along the tail ridges similar to spine ridges...vet believes it is possible that tail...

$28 is cheap!

my vet (I also work there part time...trying to learn things for home care) is chargin $83 for needle aspirate, ive called and most other vets in the city are $50 and up

hes constantly on his elizabethan collar...so im pretty sure he doesnt lick at it anymore...using the cephalexin to combat the infection...just hoping its nothing bigger

any more ideas or experience to share folks?

raised lesion on tail

Been to the vet. I was given cephalexin for a week to see if that would help. Got a recheck appointment in a week. Dr. doesnt think it's ringworm, and would do biopsy to rule out tumor or growths. ok, I sometimes feel allergies are the easy diagnosis and not always the most specific but we'll see what the doctors say

I thought about allergies...the thing that confuses me is to what? and why now? the only thing that has changed is that I am away from home more often...

I live in socal, the weather is almost the same year round...

how different is cut-heal from nu-stock or vetericyn? they all seem like good legit all purpose wound, hotspot, and mite ointments
